StealthSwitch3 Software Installation- Windows
Note: Setup StealthSwitch3 software before you install hardware
Installation – Windows
- Visit stealthswitch3.com/support/downloads to download your software
- Click on “Download StealthSwitch3 Software for Windows” to begin download
- Double click your file to unzip it (**NOTE** StealthSwitch II and StealthSwitch3 software is identical)
- User Account Control will prompt you, with “Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer” click “yes”
- Follow the installer instructions to complete your install
- Your software will be fully installed when you receive the following message
Click “finish”
- If you are running Windows XP, you are now ready to plug in your StealthSwitch3 hardware (See StealthSwitch3 Hardware Installation below). If you are running Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10, follow the steps below:
- Search for your StealthSwitch II Configurator software
- Right click on SSII Configurator software and “Pin to Taskbar” (You will now see the SS icon in your taskbar)
- Right click on SS II Configurator shortcut in taskbar, click on “Properties”
- Once in Properties, click the “Compatibility” tab
- Check “Run as Administrator”
- Click “Apply”
- Click “Ok” (see below)

StealthSwitch3 Hardware Installation- Windows
The StealthSwitch3 can be plugged into any USB port or hub on your Windows or Mac computer.
- Plug the USB cable into your computer’s USB port or into a USB hub
Notes: The first time you plug the StealthSwitch3 into your computer, the “Found New Hardware” window will open in the system tray. You will receive a message when the installation is complete that says “Your new hardware is installed and ready to use”.
Programming for Windows
- Open the StealthSwitch3 Configurator software
- The following message will come up: “Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer?” Click “yes”
- Click on each switch that you want to program and either press the key on the keyboard or right click and select from the list (see below).
Click on the “Program” button to send the program to the StealthSwitch3
Once you click “program” you will receive a message that reads, “Device successfully programmed”
- NOTE: If you receive a message that says “Failed to Program Device” follow these instructions:
- You can reboot your computer or unplug the StealthSwitch3, wait 15 seconds, plug back in and then click “program” again. You will need to repeat this driver install procedure if you plug your device into a different USB port.
Notes:
- After programming, the software is no longer required and all settings are stored in the SS3 hardware. It can even be unplugged and moved to another computer and retain the programming.
- Click on “Help” for more features and information.
StealthSwitch3 Software Installation- Mac
- Visit stealthswitch3.com/support/downloads to download your software
- Click on “Download StealthSwitch3 Software for Mac” to begin download.
- Unzip your file (**NOTE** StealthSwitch II and StealthSwitch3 software is identical)
- If you see the following message:
- You will see the following message:
- Follow the installer instructions to complete your install (Note: You can accept all of the defaults)
- You should see this message when you are done:
Click “Close” (Note: Your software is now installed in your “applications” folder)
- You are now ready to plug in your StealthSwitch3 Hardware (See StealthSwitch3 Hardware Installation below)
- NOTE: For a complete programming guide, click on the question mark on the bottom, left-hand side.
StealthSwitch3 Hardware Installation- Mac
The StealthSwitch3 can be plugged into any USB port or hub on your Windows or Mac computer.
- Plug the USB cable into your computer’s USB port or into a USB hub
Notes: The first time you plug the StealthSwitch3 into your computer the Keyboard Setup Assistant window will open with a message that your keyboard cannot be identified. Simply close this window by clicking on the red X at the top left and your StealthSwitch3 hardware installation is complete.
RoboCon Software Installation- Mac
The RoboCon software was automatically installed when you installed the StealthSwitch3 software. Note: More information regarding using the RoboCon software is included in the “Help” files
Programming for Mac
- Open the StealthSwitch3 application
- Make sure the “Product” at the top right s set to 5 switches
- Click “Configuration – New” and choose a name
- Click the keystroke or mouse function from the dropdown of each switch that you want to configure
- Click on “Program Switch” to program your new configuration
Notes:
- After programming, the software is no longer required and all settings are stored in the switch interface. It can even be unplugged and moved to another computer.
